Mr. Hesketh, on behalf of t c accused, a, nlied for a further ren.and in the continued absence of t c interpreters. Mr. Wynn consenting, the case was remanded for another wei-k.

J.aeoeny.— George Francis pleaded guilty to having stolen a pair of boots and trousers, valued at 165., the property of Chas. Krancket. —Sergeant.-iVlajor Morrison having stated that this was the prisoner's first offence, the pc alty was inflicted of a fortnight's imprisonment, with hard labour.
