W* beg to intimate to intending subscribers that the new quarter having commenced, persons so desirous can secure the punctual delivery of the Stab by forwarding their names aa subscribers to this office. Sub•cription, 6s. 6d. per quarter, in advance ; or 6s. 6d. if booked.
"We beg to intimate to residents at the "Whau, and along the line of road leading to that district, that by arrangement with Mr. Pbipps, the Evening Stae will be, forwarded daily to subscribers by his 'bus leaving the city at 4 p.m. Mr. Phipps has also been Appointed agent for the Stab, and will receive advertisements and subscriptions for this papeiv . , •,.. m ,
