The cutter Orpheus, Captain Judd, arrived at Levuka on the 12th inst.

The schooner Aurora, Captain Brain, nine days from Auckland, anchored at Levuka on the 9th inr-t.

The Auckland schooner Kenilworth was lying at Apia, Navigator Islands on the Bth inst., and was to s=il for Levuka in a few days, •where she would take in a cargo for Auckland. She was expected to arrive at Levuka about the 26rh inst.

The following is the report of h-n- trip : —Left Auci-lund at 5 p m. on the 9th September, arrived at Levuka ac 2 p.m. of the 15th, "where she remained 75 hours ; left there for Suva at 7 a.m. 18th, where she arrived at 3 p.m. same day ; remained there 48 hours, and left again for Auckland via Bay of Islands at 3 p.m. 20th, and arrived at the Bay of Islands at 7.SQ a.m. 26th : took in 150 tons of coal, and left there at 7 a.m. 27th, and arrived at Auckland at 2 a.un 28th Experienced on the upward trip light variable winds and calms till the morning of the 14th, when we ran into the S.E. trades, which were carried till arrival at Levuka. On the passage ba<-k experienced light head winds till Saturday afternoon, when a fresh easterly breeze sprung up, which was carried all along the New Zealand coast, with squally weather. She brings the following Passengers : —Levuka to Auckland— Messrs. Chamberlain, Railley, G-illman, Orundry, Reid, Kogan, Neil, D. Graham, R. Wynyard, and two in the steerage. Levuka to Sydney—Mrs. Manton, and one in the steerage. Luva to Sydney—Mr. F. Donton. Lexuka to Melbourne— Messrs. Laycock, Hydmann, and two in the steerage. The s.s. Taranaki sailed yesterday from the Manukau, f>r Southern ports, with a general cargo and the following passengers—Mr. Tate, Mra. Dean and children, Miss Dean, Miss Deardon, Mias Graskell, Master Seccombe, Mr. Seecombe, Mrs. Pellans, Mr. and Miss Eiphinstone, Mrs. Pittars, Messrs. Ritchie, Stobe, Plumicer, Blundell, McLean, Tate, Harley, Knockpennick, Pittars, Robins, and 60 others.
