ARRIVAL OF THE TARANAKI.
The fine s.s. Taranaki, 299 tons, E. Wheeler, commander, arrived in the Alanukau early this morning. Repons having left Port Chalmers at 5 p.m. on the 15th, arrived at Lyttelton at 11 a.m. on the 17th ; left Lyttelton at 3 p.m. on the 18th, a rived at Wellington at 8.30 a.m. on the 19th ; left Wellington at 1.30 p.m. on the 20th, arrived at Tieton at, 6 30 p.m. the same evening ; left Picton at 7.30 a.m. on the 21st, arrived at Nelson at 4 p.m. the same day ; left Nelson at 5.45 p.m. on the 22nd, arrived at Taranaki at 9 a.m. on the 23rd; left, Taranaki at 4.30 p.m. the same day, experiencing line weather throughout the passage. Passf.ngehs : Mrs. Green, Mrs. Wilson, Air. and Airs, i'liunrer, Messrs. Bayley, Levi, Chisholm, Sherrard, Uamson, Swan, Isaacs, Captain Wilson, Master Seccombc, and six in the steerage. ■
