POLICE COURT.—Wednesday.
. [Before H. M, Jervis, Esq.', J.P.] Drunkenness.—T. Cook, J. Cooper and Ann Eielly were each fined 5s and costs, or to be imprisoned 24 hours. J. white and P. Bradley, for being drunk and disorderly, were each fined 20s and costs, or to be imprisoned 48 hours. Municipal Police Act. — VV. M. Miller, for indecent exposure in Queen-street, being convicted, was sentenced to a fine of 40s, or two months' imprisonment. Vagrancy.—Joseph Smith was charged with having no lawful visible means of support. Detective Ternahan deposed to having seen him on Tuesday prowling about intoxicated sailors fivm the man-of-war, in company with other thieves, and to prisoner having been repeatedly convicted, being still the associate of thieves, and having no lawful in can 3 of support. iAs prisoner stilted that he had been employed at the Whsri.
