DtrEiNa the excavations on the railway at Dirty Swamp (says the the Bathurst Times) some very rich reefs have been discovered. Claims have been marked out, and, as usual, with goldfields' tactic, some of them have been jumped from real or fancied non compliance with the Goldfields Regulations. The land upon which tho quai-tz has been found belongs to Mr. Lee, and tho stone is said to bo rich. Wo understand that some pieces of the quartz contain a very large proportion of the precious metal.
