Ihe Patea Infanticide Case. — The Grand Jury failed to find a true bill against Gruterraan, and his Honor remarked that the case was one which should n^ver have been brought before the Court, and thought it a great pity that the unfortunate girl should be dropped into the slret ts of Wellington to find her way back to where she came from as best she could. He thought that those who had been the means of bringing her here might also assist in sending her back. Mr. Izard said if the girl wished it, he would make representation in the proper quarter. — Wanganui Evening Herald, September 15.
