The new sheep-wash has been tried successfully ; it cleans wool in two minutes, without rubbing. 19th. Judge Forbes has decided that a certificateed insolvent cannot sue f6r damages sustained prior to getting his certificate. The Agamemnon has arrived from London in 71 days ; the doctor died the i revious day to arrival; his body was brought on for inquest. 20th. The Gothenburg arrived yesterday. The military from Adelaide, Hobart Town, and Victoria, have embarked on board the Corona, which sailed forthwith. Edwin Sleight, son of Mr. Sleight, undertaker, has been killed by horse bolting.
M'Meckan, Blackwood, and Co. have despatched the Omeo to Adelaide, thence to Port Darwin; the Alhambra proceeds to Fiji on Tuesday, well filled. Commercial. —No change scarcely during the week. Flour, £12 5s to £12 15s; wheat, 5s 7d to 5s 9d ; oats, a trifle, easier, but appear more in request at 3s 5d to 3b 7d.
