Mebcee, August 19. The whole country between this a,nd the coal mines is under water.
People living on the low river banks have had to.leave their houses and obtain lodging from their neighbours on the high lands. lam thankful that no loss of life or property can be reported. Quick's coach cannot run beyond this tation, and mails are sent on by steamer.
