The schooner Sea Ghill cleared at the Customs this morning for the Fiji Islands, with a large cargo of general merchandise for the Auckland and Fiji Cotton Company. She will probably sail to-night. Passengers—Messrs. G-. Lamb, J. Gask, and H. Higginson. The schooner Colonist arrived in harbour this morning from the East Coast, with a cargo of 500 bushels of maize, 21 pigs, 22 casks of port, and 6 kc-s of lard. She passed the schooners Meteor, Fortune, and Saucy Lass, bound to this port, off the East Cape. The fine schooner Aruora has been laid on the berth for Fijis, to sail on the 25th inst. The s.s. Auckland may be expected here from Sydney and Melbourne about Sunday next. -
Ti-e Sfhooner Strathnaver left Lyttelton on Saturday the 6th instant, nnd experienced Btr >ng \.W. winds to the East Cape ; thence light westerly winds. Passed the schoon r Saucy Lnss, bound tip, off the Ea3t ape. The Srathnaver brings a cargo of 3000 bushels of oats for Messrs. Beli-her and Eaton; and 1 ton cheese, for Q\ W. Binney. Th& cutter Hero brings a cargo of 10,000 ft timber, for the Sash and Door Company, and 10 tons firewood.
The schooner William and Julia, Captain Eyan, arrived in harbour this morning from the Fiji.*, in ballast. The fine schooner Cleopatra cleared at the Customs, this morning, for the Fijis, and will probably sail this evening. Passengers. —Mr. and Mrs. H. Wright and four children, Mr. T. Turner, Mr. T. Turner, Mr. J. Edgerley, Messrs M. Davies? S. Levy, C. Chute, M. Walsh, H. Garnet, W. S. Caffvn.
