ARRIVAL OF THE GO-AHEAD.
The s.s. Go-ahead, Captain Watson, arrived from Russell at noon to-day, having left that port at 4.30 p.m. last evening. Experienced W.N. W. winds and smooth water throughout the passage. The Go-ahead brings a miscellaneous cargo of sheep, gum, hides, and coal, as per import returns, also th following passengers :— Saloon —Messrs. Michie, Davis, Baker, Williams. Cameron, McLeod. and 3 others.
The Go-ahead leaves for Wangarei at 5 p.m to-morrow.
The schooner Leonidas left for this port at the s-ime time. The schooners Clyde and Queen were loading with coal for this port when the Go-ahead left.
The barque Eucalyptus sails for Hobart Town this afternoon. The mail s.s. City of Melbourne sails for Sydney to-morrow morning, at dayl ght.
