City Beard of Commissioners' Office, Auckland, Bth August, 1870, NOTTCE is hereby given that the Commissioners, under the City Board Act, 1863, the City Board Act, 1863, Amendment Act, and the City Board Act Amendment Act, 1865, intend upon MONDAY, the 15th day of August, 1870, to MAKE a GENERAL RATE of EIGHTPENCE per pound, and also a Sewerage Rate of One Penny per pound, on the ratable value of property assessable under the said Acts and Amendment Acts, from the period from the Ist June, 1870, to 30th November, 1870, and that a statement of the proposed Rate is deposited in ihe office of the Collector of Rates, Canada Buildings, Queen-street, for inspection by the Ratepayers, of all which notice is hereby given in terms of the .said Acts and Amendment Acts.
