Shoetland-street. Mails -r-ill close as under : — For Thames, this day, at 5.30 p.m. —and on Monday the Bth inst., at 10 a.m., and 5.30. p.m. For Wanganui, per p.s. Sam3on, this day, at 5. p.m. Mails for the undermentioned places, per s.s. Wonga Wonga, will close at this office on Bun ;ay, the 7th proximo, as follow :— For Sandwich Islands, British Columbia, United States of America, British, Central, and South America, British and Foreign West Indies, Continent of Europe, &c, at 11 a.m. For the United Kingdom via San Francisco, at 12 30 p.m.

For Money Orders, Registered Letters and Newspapers, on Saturday, the 6th prox., at 5 p.m. Late letters for the United States of America and United Kingdom bearing a late fee of 6d., in addition to the postage, will be receivod at this office till 1 p.m., and by the mail agent on board the steamer up to the time of sailing. For Coromandel and Kapanga, per ps. Lalla Rookh, on Monday, the Bth inst., at 12 noon. For Sydney and Brisbane, per Novelty, on Monday, the Bth inst, at 12 noon. For Taranaki and the Southern Provinces, per s.s. Wellington, on Tuesday, the 9th inst.,at 10 a.m. Late letters and telegrams for transmission from the Nelson Station, will be received at this office till 10 30, and at Onehunga till 2.30 a.m. For Napier and the Southern Provinces, per g.s. Lord Ashley, on Tuesday, the 9th inst., at 2. p.m, Late letters and telegrams for transmission from the Napier Station will be received till 2.30 p.m. For Wangarei, per s.s. Go-Ahead, on Tuesday the 9th instant, at 5 p.m. S. B. Biss, Chief Postmaster.
