Mails will close as under :— For Thames, Coromandel, and Kapanga, this day, at 5.30 p.m., and to.morrow at 5.30 p.m.

For Wanganui, per s s. St. Ivilda, to morrow at 12 noon. Lale letters and telegrams for transmission from the Wanganui Station ■will be received at this office till .12.30 a.m., and at Onebunga till 1.30 p.m. For Russell and Kawa Kawn, per s.s. GoAhead, to-morrow, the sth inst., at 4.30 p.m. For Sydney and Brisbane, pci1 liorelty, on Saturday, 6th instant, at 11 a.m. Mails for the undermentioned places, per s.s. Phoebe, will close at this office on Saturday, the 6th inst., as tinder :— For Taranaki- and the Southern Provinces of New Zealand, at 11 a.m. For Victoria, Tasmania, Soulii Australia, and Western Australia, at 11 a.m. For India, China, Mediterranean Ports, Continent of Europe, &c, at 11 a.m. For the United Kingdom, via Suez and Southampton, Brindisi and Marseilles, (for letters specially so addressed), at 11 a.m.

For registered letters, money orders, and newspapers, at 10 a.m.

Mail* - for the undermentioned places, per s.B. Wonga Wonga, will cloae at this .office on Sunday, the 7fch proximo, as follow: — For Sandwich Islands, British Columbia, United Statea of America, British, Central, and South America, British and Foreign West Indies, Continent of Europe, &c., at 11 a.m. For the United Kingdom via San Francisco, at 12.30 p.m. ■For "Money Orders, .Registered Letters and Newspapers, on Saturday, the 6th prox., at 5 p.m. Late letter* for the United States of Ame rica and United Kingdom bearing a late fee of 6d., in addition to the postage, will be receivod at this office till 1 p.m., and by the mail agent on board the steamer lip to the limo of sailing.
