Thursday afternoon
Messrs. Lewis Bros, sold, at the stores of Messrs. H. S. Meyers and Co., this day, the first consignment of fruit, &c, this season, per Bella Mary, from. Hobart Town. There was a good attendance, and a portion of the cargo wns sold at the following rates : —Apples, 2£d to 4id ; onions, If d ; pears, 2jd ; oats, 3s 6d; potatoes, £7 per ton ; butter, 10id; jams (in case), 7s 6d to 8s 3d ; ditto (in jars), 6Jd per lb.
