ARRIVAL OF THE NOVELTY.
The Ciicular Saw clipper Novelty. Captain J. NoariiiL', 1 as made a very oroxl passage from Sydney to this port, h.-.ving left Port Jackson on the afternoon of the 18th inst. The vessel was becalmed for eight hours after leavir*<_ the Heads, when she got a moderate breeze from S.S.E , which continued for four days, with a heavy h*ad sea. The wind then veered to N.N.W., and tho barque did three days' capital sailing, making the Three Kings on the teventh day out from Sydney. On Tuesday la*l she experienced a strong easterly gale, and since then light winds and calms, arriving in harbour as above.
Passes GRKS. —Mr. D. Cruickshank, Mr and Mrs Miller and family, Mrs. Trevclyn and two children, Mr. and Mrs. Camfield, Mr. S. Oainpalt, and 12 steerage.
