ARRIVAL OF THE AUCKLAND.
The A.B.N. Company's s.s. Auckland, Captain C. Blick, arrived in harbour early yesterday morning, fr <m Sydney, bringing our portion of the English naaii via Suez. She also brings later Sydney and Melbourne news. The Auckland left Sydney at 6 p.m., on Wednesday 13ch iu9tant; rounded the North Cape at 3 a.m., on Saturday 23rd inslant; and arrived off Eangitoto Kcef at midnight, on Saturday. Had strong E.S.tfl. gales, and very heavy head sea prevailed to the Three Kings, and light northerly and N.W. -winds on the coast.
Passesgers. — Saloon : Mrs. Thorgnorton and infant, two children and servant, Messrs. Hoame and Cronce.
