Wednesday afternoon. The cargo of the Margaret Campbel.l from Oaraaru, was eubmitted to auction this morning, by Mr. B. Tbnke. The sale was largely attended, but the oats, beiDg of an infei'ior quality, brought very-low prices, the highest price obtained being 3s 2£d, the remainder sold at 3s. About 300 bags and sacks of flour -was disposed of, the best realising from £11 3s to £11 14s. The bulk of it, however, being seconds, only brought £9 10s. Mr. S. Jones had a large sale of groceries, oilman's stores, &c., at his mart, to-day, and obtained the following prices : —Mauritius crystals, s^d; fine currants, s|d; Prices candles, 11^4; Champion's -vinegar, 2s 7d ; rice, 26s ; Hobart Tow:a jams, 7s ; Devoe's kerosene, 3s 9d.
