THEATRE ROYAL.

This pretty little theatre is not going to remain closed long, for we understand that a farewell benefit has been tendered by the Tradesmen's Garrick Club to Mr. Frank Towers, which will take place this even^ ing. Mr. Towers is a great favorite, both at the Thames and in this city, and we trust that there will be a bumper house to-morrow. ■ An excellent bill is announced, '.', and .with Mr. Carey, Mr. Northcote, and others,, we are sure a capital evening's amusement will be provided. The Garrick Club have ' been very long in getting up a fine comedy, viz., "The Writing on the Wall," arid we shall expect to see something more now than fair acting in their parts.
