AUCKLAND STOCK AND SHARE MARKET.
MARTIN SHOLL'S SHARE REPORT.
My transactions during the week have been limited to Shotovers, at 12s ; Long Drives at £20 10s; and a few Belfasts under the last quotation. I am a buyer of Bank of New S-ealands at £15 15s, seller at £16; and a buyer of Gas Shares at £8.
mr. Newman's share market report.
The share market has assumed a more healthy tone, and my sales have been more numerous than for some time past^particularly in Bank of New Zealand shares, Long Drives, and Shotover's. I have sold Bank shares in large lots, at £16 to £16 2s. 6d; Long Drives have paid a dividend of 30s, and I have sold at £20 cum-dividend, to £20 exdivideftd. They are in demand at the advance. Shotover No. 1,1 have sold all the week at 12s, and the demand i*= in Teasing ; a large lot of Imperial Crowns a. o. ; Una's at 7» 9d; Inverness at 14s; Moanatairi at 9s ; and a forced sale at auction, Dauntless and Sink to Rise sold at 9d to Is 3d.
