ARRIVAL OF THE WONGA WONGA.

The O.N.Z. and A.E.M. Company's powerful s.s. Wonga Wonga, T. S. Beal, Esq., commander, arrived in harbour, tbis moraing, from Sydney, en route to Honolulu, for vrhich placo she Trill take her departure on Monday next, at 2 p.m., carrying the English mails via t-'an Francisco. The Wonga Wonga left Sydney on Saturday last, the 28th ult., clearing the Heads, at 5 p.m., rounded the North Cape on the 2nd inst., at 1 p.m., and arrived in harbour at 8 a.m. to-day. She experienoed moderate easterly winds throughout the passage. Passed thfl s.s. Auckland, bound for this port, on the 28fch tVlay. The Wonga Wonga brings a few packages of cargo and the following pastengers: —Messrs. A. Leeper, B. Billyard, D. L. William*, B. Kochfort, D. M. Berry, J. C. Lyons, F. Kice, Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm and child, Messrs. J. C. Full* rton Thomas Cocker, T. H. Phillips, James McLeod, Htuford, T. O'Connell, Hep worth and servant, R. E. Die Biel, Mr. and Mr. Fisher and servant, Mrs. Addey, Miss Hurford, Messrs. 0. Fitzgibbon, Oharkf Terrance, and th'rty in the iteerage. Mr. Matthew J. Bobinson has

been appointed purser of this fine steamer, and we are indebted to that gentleman for the earlj delivery of our files.
