The ketch Speedwell arrived this morning from Wangaroa, with 6,000 feet bulk timber, 60,000 shingles, 1 ton gum, 200 staves, 1 parcel amnunition.

Tha schooner Tauranga brings 400 bushels wheat, 22 cases sundries.

Samson. —The p.s. Samson arrived in harbor this morning from Bay of Islands with 40 tons coal, 4 tons luggage. Passengers : — Mrs. Kemp and family (5), Mr. and Mrs. Busty, Mr. Busby, Mr. Potter, and 7 in the steerage.

The s.s. Airedale is expected in the Manukau on Sunday next, from Southern ports. The s.s City of Melbourne is expected here from Honolulu on Monday next.

The s.s. Hero, Captain Logan, was announced to leave Sydney for this port on the 2nd ult. She may be expected here about the 9th inst.

The Dubk of Edinbttbghi.—We understand that private letters have been received by the last mail from persons in the suite of his Royal Highness, to the effect that the Galatea may be expected in Port Jackson by the Ist of August. The vessel will go into dock, and the Prince will remain in Sydney for about three months. It is expected that he will take up his quarters on shore at the club. After leaving Sydney, the Galatea will visit New Zealand, and remain there about two months, and then return by way of Cape Horn, reaching England in April, 1871. '
