Evening Stab Office, Wednesday afternoon.

The balauce of the cargo of fruit, per Bella Mary, from ifobart Town, was submitted to auction, this morning, by Mr. GL VV. Binney. The priced obtained were the same as those quoted at the previous sale. Mr. S. Jones held a sale of groceries at his mart to-day. There was a large attendance of the trade, but bidding was very slack. A farm at Epsom was announced to be sold by auction this morning by Mr. B. Tonks, but a satisfactory arrangement having been made with the mortgagee previous to the time advertised for the sale, the property was not offered.
