ARRIVAL OF THE KATE.
TM* Circular Saw barque Kate, Captain P. Cooper, arrived in harbour this morning, bringing nine passengers and a cargo of general merchandise, j The Kate sailed from Sydney on the night of the 6th instant, and experienced a succession of easterly winds to the (Three Kings. Bounded the North Cape yesterday morning; passed Cape Brett at 10 a.m. Stie came up the harbour with the flood tide this morning, and came direct alongside the wharf. The Governmeijfc p.s. Luna will take her departure this afternoon. ihe schooner Tawera took her departure at noon to day for Poverty Bay, with a full cargo of sundries and several .passengers. Ihe barque Janet Dalgleish left the harbor to-day for HeWcastle, in ballast. Passengers : Messrs. C. Moore and Wm. Nash.
The cargo of cotton" recently brought up from Tahiti by the schooner Onward, will be transhipped into the barque Ismay, for London, as soon as that vessel has discharged her inward cargo.
