The clipper schooner Lulu, the property of Captain Cadell, arrived in harbour this morning from a cruiso among the New Hebrides. She is last from Aneiteum, having left Port

Eesolution on" the 3rd inst. She experienced very severe weather throughout the passage, and called at Mongonui and Bay of Islands for orders. The Lulu brings a quantity of cocoanuts, &c, on account of Captain MoLeod. She has also on board 27 passengers. Captain McLeod reports, on March 26th spoke the schooner Donald McLean, bound to the North Island, for labour. May 2nd, the schooner Coquette anchored off Port Eesolution, and on the 3rd inst. the schooner Zephyr arrived. On the 27th April, -while the vessel was lying off Penteco3t Island, the natives on shore made signs for those on board to land. A boat's crew, containing the supercargo,

accordingly put off from the ship, but no sooner had one of the meu landed than he was shot at by the natives with arrows. The boat immediately put off again, and the crew were fortunate to roach the ship without being hurt.
