MASONIC PRESENTATION.
Oir Monday evening last, a handsome testi. monial was pi-esented to Dr. C. F. G-oldsbro' at the meeting of Lodge Waitemata, 689, BJ.O* The presentation was in the form of a beau* tiful specimen of ornamental penwork (old English) on parchment, neatlj and substanti. ally mounted,_enclosed in a gilt frame, and containing the following address:—
"To Charles Field Goldsbro', Esq., M.D. • "Dear Sir and Brother, —We, the Maiter Wardens and Brethren of Lodge Waitemafc No. 689, under the constitution of the Grand Lodge of England, desire to express our ap. probation of the manner in which you hate discharged the different offices held by you j n the Lodge—viz., Secretary in the years 18R1 and 1862 ; Senior Warden 1862 and 1863 • Worshipful Master 1863 and 1864; and Treasurer from 1864 to this date. In the various offices you have "won the fraternal regard of the brethren, and we iihcerely praY the great Architect of the Universe to blew you with health, prosperity, and length of days; and, finally, we hope to meet you in that Grand Lodge above, wher» the great Architect lives and reigns for ever and ever. "Presented in open Lodge in Auckland New Zealand, this 21st day of February, 1870, and in the year of Masonry 5870. " Andbew J. McMath, W.M;, " g-eoikje q-ledhill, s.w., " Wm.
