DFATH OF CAPTAIN CALDER. The shipping at the Queen-street Wharf to-day, with colours half-mast high, told in their language of mourning that one esteemed and respected had passed away. Captain CaMer, of the Island City, had arrived in L it vessel from Queensland a few days ago, ;;tice which time he has been residing a( Captain Johnston's, in Emily Place. A\ iiough ailing, it was not suspected tlia: he was in any danger, and his death t is morning was so unexpected as to be a'most sudden.'The deceased gentleman had very recently lost his wife by death, n d three orphan children have now been left to mourn their bereavement.
