Rangatira, to-morrow, at 9 a.m. Late letters and telegrams for transmiseion from the Nelson station, will be received at this office till 9.30 a.m., and at Onehunga till 10.30 a.m. Mails per s.s Hero will close on Wednesday, the 4th May, as under :— For India, China, Mediterranean Jrorts, Continent of Europe, &c, at 1 p.m. For the Australian Colonies, at 2 p.m. For the United Kingdom, via Suez (for letters specially so addressed), at 2 p.m. For Money O#ters, Registered Letters, and
Newspapers, at 12 noon. Mails via San Francisco, per ss. City of Melbourne, will close on Wednesday, the 4th May, as under: — For Vancouver's Island, British North America, United States, Central and South Ajnerica, West Indies, Continent of Europe, at noon. For Sandwich Islands, at noon.
For the United Kingdom, at 1 p.m. For Money Orders, Registered Letters, ctncl
Newspapers, at 11 a.m. Late correspondence for the United Kingdom and America (bearing a fee of 6d. in addition to the postage) will be received till ' 1.30 p.m., and by the mail agent on board, until time of sailing.
