Hero, on Wednesday, 4th May, at 1 p.m. Mails via San Francisco, per s.s. City of Melbourne, will close on Wednesday, the 4th May, as under: — For Vancouver's Island, British North America, United States, Central and South America, West Indies, Continent , of Europe, at noon. ' . • !'! ! For Sandwich Islands, at noon. For the United Kingdom, at 1 p.m. For Money Orders, Registered Letters, .tnd Newspapers, at 11 a.m. Late letters for the United Kingdom and America (bear-ing a fee of 6d. in additionto the postage) wiil be received till 1.30 p.m, and by the mail agent on board, until time of sailing. , , Note.—The postage on letters for all places sent via San Francisco, is the same as that for places sent via Suez and Southampton. ..•)
