Mails will close as under :— For Thames and Ooromandel, this day, at 5.80 p.m., and"to-morrow,|26th instant, at 9.30 a.m., 11 a.m., and 5.30 p.m. For Tauranga and Napier, per s.s., Star of the South, to-morrow, 26fch inst., at 2 p.m.. Late letters and telegrams for transmission from the Napier Station will be re- ., ceived till 2.30 p.m. For the Australian Colonies, per s.s. Auckland, on Wednesday, the 27th inst., at 9 a.m. Late letters will be received till 9.30 a.m. For Napier and the Southern Provinces, per s.s. Airedale, on Wednesday, 27th instant, at 2 p.m. Late letters and telegrams for transmission from the Napier Station will be received till 2.30 p.m. Mails for the United States of America, West Indies, South America, United Kingdom, Continental Europe, &c, via San Francisco, will be made up at this office on Wednesday, the 4th May. Note. —The postage on letters for all places sent via San Francisco, is the same as that for places sent via Suez and Southampton. S. B. Biss, Chief Postmaster.
