M'Elmie, charged with the above offence were each fined 5s and costs, or to be imprisoned 24 hours with hard labour. Agnes Cowell, charged with the same offence for a third time, was sentenc. d to a fine of 20s and costs, or to be imprisoned 43 hours with hard labour, and 7 days additional. !
