ARRIVAL OF THE TAWERA.

The schooner Tawera, a regular trader to Poverty Bay, returned to port this morning. She left Poverty Bay on Saturday, tlie 9th, and experienced easterly winds to Waipara Bay, where she anchored on Tuesday, called at Awanui same day, and left again in the evening. Rounded East Cape on Wednesday and anchored at Torowera, where she took in cargo, and left again on Thursday ; since then S. and S.E. winds. She brings the following cargo : 154 bags maize, 100 bags grass seed, 95 boxes apples, 26 bags wheat, 1 case tallow, 26 pigs, J. S. Macfarlane. Passengers : — Messrs. Wiley, Whitty, Bricktop, and 11 discharged men from the Armed Constabulary.
