[FROM A CORRESPONDENT.] The Parawai natives report that on two occasions small parties of four or five Hau-. haus have crossed the swamp at night witn the intention of burning down Messrs. Gibbon and Simpson's Mata Mata.mill, but returned on finding the property guarded.
