Mails will close as under
For the Thames and Corooiandel, this day, at 5.30 p.m., and to-morrow, 7th instant, at 8 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. For Poverty Bay, Napier, and Wellington, per s.s. Ahuriri, to-morrow, 7th instant, at 11 a. m. Late letters and telegrams for transmission for the Soathern Provinces from the Napier station, will be received till H'3o a.m. Mails fer s.s. Wellington will close on Friday next, Bth instant, as follows : For India, China, Mediterranean Ports, Continent of Europe, &c , at 12, noon. For Australian Colonies, at 12-30 p.m. For Southern Provinces of New Zealand and United Kingdom, via Suez, (for letters specially so addressed) at 1 p.m. — For Money Orders, Eegistered Letters, and Newspapers, at 11 a.m. Late letters for the Southern Provinces 'of New Zealand, the Australian Colonies, and United Kingdom, and telegrams for transmission from the Napier station, will be received till 1.30 p.m. S.
