LOSS OF LIFE.

WINDSOR. March 9, 4 p.m. It has been raining heavily since last night. The river has risen several feet, and fears are entertained of a flood. 6 p.m. The river is now ten feet above highwater mark, and rising about, a foot an hour. The rain continues. March 10. Raining heavily. River rose about live feet during the night. It is now .fifteen feet above the usual level, but seems to be slowly going down. Low lands around South Oreck are under water.
