An inquest was held yesterday, at the school-house, Beil Block, before Josiali Flight, Esq., Coroner, on the body of a female infant, «.v.w.i. ]..wi u»~~ s^ixnd last, in .a house m the occupation ~oT "Atlffle Grcemvay.
The jury after hearing the evidence retired and after an absence of about half-an-hour rturned with the following verdict: —
" That the infant female child now lying dead at the Hau Village, was the child of Annie Green way, and that the death was caused by suffocation ; but there is no evidence before the jury, to show how or by what means the suffocation look place."
