Colonist, schooner, 43 tons, W. Jones, for Poverty Bay, via East Coast Tiri Tiri, ketch, 19 tons, for Port Charles. The p.s. 'Clio ketch Isabella arrived from tie Thames this morning, and wi 1 at once tako in ear^o for tho Fiji:). The cutter Sovereign of the Sens arrived in harbour t. i.. morning from Russell, with a aargo of 46 tons cords. The cutter Hero is advertised to leavo for Norfolk Island and New Caledonia on Saturday next. The utter Rob Roy left Kennedy's Bay on Tuesday cv ning, aud"a rived iv harbour this morning with il_;,000 feet sawn timber and 3 pa-s i-igei-i. The brigantine Kenilworth, Capt McKe izie, left, Kennedy's Bay on Monday evening, aid arrived in htrbour early this morning bhe experienced Vi rv light winds and line weather Her cargo con' ist — feet of sawn timber. She wi 1 now complcto her loading and sails early for the Islands. j The barque Prince Alfred will sail for Tahiti in a few d.ivs. Capt. Young, formerly of the Neva, will lake command. The s.s. Keera, Captain Bain, took her departure from the Manukau, for Lyttelton, this afternoon.
The three-masted schooner Bernhard will proceed to the Kaipara on Saturday next, to load timber.
The schooner Mary, now discharging a cargo of geuernl morchaudis;>, is advertised to sail for Melbourne about Saturday next.
Moa. —The brig _ioa, Captain Robertson, cleared at Melbourne, for this port, on the Gib instant, with the following cargo : 100 cases kerosene, 1 package apparel, 24 quartercasks wine, 40 cases salmon, 35 cases confectionery, 30 boxes tea, 1 package medicine, 5 c;iscs bitters, 5 eases herrings, 10 demijohns vinegar, 15. eases condensed milk, 2 cases clears, 260 cases brandy, 25 cases sauc s, 5 cases maraschiuo, 67 packages sugar, 2 cuses hosiery, 13 eases bedsteads, 10 barrels plaster, 15 cases mustard, 50 cases moselle, 16 cases powder, 8 kegs shot, 1 case gun caps, 80 qr.barrels powder, 1 case hardware, 1 case marble, 15 cases sheet iron, 20 kegs grease, 3 cases white lead, 46 packages hardware, 11) cases druggists' ware, 210 boxes soap. 100 tierces beef, 10 tierces hams, 1 case fruit, 1 package drapery. _~.?,?^cO^^TTyte'i_U->* uf6r .lie home market, and will, in all probability, take her departure about the sth proximo. The rapidity with which her cargo has been landed, and the amount of stuff already taken on board, is highly eredi'able to Captain Brown, aud the agents of the ship, Messrs. Owen and Graham. Not many mo ths since a vessel, filling up f„r England, had to remain in harbour at least 100 d.iys before she could get away with a full cargo; but the attention more recently bestowed upon flux, gum, &c, has enabled us to send our vessels away with a.s good a freight, and with the same despatch, ii 3 those leaving the Southern ports of this Island. Already we have despatched four vessels from this port since the first of the year, and we have now or the berlh t_o of the finest craft that have for many months visited our port. We refer to tho Anne Main aud Seatoller. The latter vessel arrived heron the 20th February from Liverpool, after a very smart passage, but was detained in tho stream till the end of the month, awaiting a berth at the wharf. She came alongside on the 28th ulr,., and on the following day opened her hatches, and commenced to discharge her cargo, which contained some veiy heavy engines and machinery. Oo the 11th she had landed sufficient, to enable her to take in rargo for England, and on the 19th instant, ever, package was on the wharf, the whole beiny lauded in first-rate condition. The Seatoller lias at present on board 53 bales wool 400 oases kauri gum, 300 bales flax, and 10 ton. oil, and the cargo is coming down as fast as it can be stowed.
