AMUSEMENTS.
PRINCE OE WALES THEATRE. The " Comedy of Errors" was successfully repeated last' evening to a fair house, Mr. O'Brien as Eglon, Messrs. Musgrave and McGowan particularly excelled. Mr. Clifford was also excellent as one of the "Autiphoto," and Mrs. Newton played well as Adriana. Miss Maggie Burton sang between the pieces with great taste. This lady is rapidly becoming a favorite. The "burlesque of " The Field of the Cloth of Gold " went, if possible, more successfully than ever, Mrs. McGowan as Damley and Mrs. W. H. Newton as Lady Constance again sustaining the principal characteristics with their usual skill. "Up in a Balloon" and " Walking in the Zoo " were as usual vociferously encored. To-night, Mr. and Mrs, J. rL. Hall take their farewell benefit, and the celebrated piece of the "American Cousin," with the burlesque "Faust," will be produced. We trust, however, the management do not intend to withdraw the burlesque " Extrava ganza," as it is without doubt one of the best mounted spectacular productions we have seen in Auckland.
