On Monday, the 18th instant, after a short but painful illness, in the 30th year of his age, Lieutenant A. M'Leod Hay, of the 58th Regt., eldest son of the late Colonel Hay, of Westerton, Morayshire, N. B This Officer regiment during the operations in jind South of New Zealand, and died universally lamented by his brother officers.
