SCHOOL COMMITTEE ELECTIONS.

. *— ROBINSON'S BAY. The annual meeting of householders at Eobinsoh's Bay lapsed, in consequence of no one putting in an appearance, every one in the Bay being busy grass eeeding. BARRY'S BAYThe annual meeting of householders took place in the BarryV Bay ephoql on Monday, 22nd Januaiy. Mrl). Lβ Corople wee voted to the chair. The chairman then read a etatement °V £ showed the receipts to he £187 19a Id, espenditore £17.4139 6d, leaving ft balance in hand of £13 5s 7d. It was jropoaed by Mr E. S. Latter, seconded by Mr Broderick, and carried unanimously, that the accounts as read be adopted. Proposed by Mr T. Lβ Compte and eeconded by Mr C. Reed, that Messrs E. S. Latter, D. Le Compte. J. Mundy, 0. Reed, T.Le Compte. H W Broderick, and W. G. Chatfield be elected a committee for the ensuing year. (Carried.) , , 4 , A meeting of the newly elected committee took place immediately after the pubhc one. Mr E. 8. Latter proposed, and Mr W. Chatfield seconded, that Mr D. Lβ Compte be re-elected chairman. (Carried.) A considerable amount of correspondence was read from the Board of Education. It was resolved that the balance of the school trentbe paid out of. the.ihcidenta? funds. An application from Mr E. S. Latt r for the use of the school for Sunday school was granted! The meeting then adjourned..
