AKAROA RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Tuesday, December 19. Before W. B. Tosswill and T. Adams, Esqs., J.P's. DRUNK AND DISORDERLY. John O'Kecfe was Ined 5s and costs for this offence. Win. O'Brien was charged with being drunk and disorderly, and destroying private property of the value of 6s. The Bench fined accused 20s and costs, and also ordered him to pay 6s, value of private property destroyed, or in default 48 hours imprisonment. CIVIL CASES. W. H. Wood v. J. Sands. Claim £3 lis sd. Judgment for amount claimed and costs. Same v. F. T. Arming. Claim £3 10s —damage done to gun. Judgment for £2 and costs. D. Grant v. John Prindiville. Suit for possession of tenement occupied hy the defendant. Case adjourned till Jan. 9. The Court then adjourned.
