Received December 18, 11 a.m. London, December 16. . Important disclosures have been made to the police authorities in Dublin regarding the recent outrages upon the detective aud others in that city, and the evidence that has been obtained from informers is of such a character as to cause the Executive to order a strict inquiry. This will be held forthwith, and some startling revelations as to the state of Dublin are anticipated.
The Homeward Australian and New Zealand mails via San Francisco, which left Auckland on November 7, were delivered here to-day.
