Christchukch, December 14. THE FRISCO MAIL. The San Francisco mail was delivered hero to-day at two o'clock. THE SUICIDAL CRIPPLE. Henry Clark, the unfortunate youth who cut his throat because he was a cripple, waß to day sent to ftunnysido. THE MURPHY FAMILY. The Michael Murphy family difficulty advanced a stage to-day in Court, it being stated that a deed of separation between Michael and his better half was being prepared. A. CELESTIAL ROW. Henrietta Sophia Chong Ah Chee, with two children, wanted a separation from her lord from the Flowery Kingdom, but Henrietta was proved to be idle and insolent to the moon-eyed Celestial, and her request was not granted. THE MATAURA. The Mataura, winch took home the last and most successful consignment of frozen meat from New Zealand, has been fitted to carry twice the quantity, and sails for Auckland shortly. The Opawa, for Canterbury, has undergone preparations to receive an unusually large number of carcasses. THE TRADE OF THE COLONY. The trade of the Colony grows daily more active. The Mataura ia already shutting oUt goods. The passenger traffic continues brisk. Captain Ashby states that no steerage births are to be had in the Orient liners till the middle of December, and the saloon travellers are unusually numerous. OUR REGATTA. Should Saturday be fine, a big crowd will go to Akaroa by the Hawea. Many enquiries at the Union Company's office were made to-day, respecting the trip. Two special correspondents accompany the excursion.
