The right of Sports. 4. The right of Sale of Cards, on the occasion of the holding the Akaroa Annual Regatta on Anniversary Day, 16th December. On this occasion the Regatta will be more attractive than in previous years, and as the Union Company have agreed to run excursion steamers from Lyttolton and Timaru, a large number of exevrsionists may be expected to be present; also, the tradespeople of Kaiapoi, to the number of over 150, have arranged to be present. Under the new " Licensing Act,," steamers alongside the wharf will not be allowed to sell liquors ; and the Commodore. W. B.
