The Times to-day states that it has received information that the English Government disapproves of Baker Pasha's scheme for ', he re-organisation of the Egyptian army. In the House of Commons to-day Mr Gladstone, in reply to a question, stated that it was a fact that the Egyptian Government had applied for the assistance of certain Biitish officers in the conduct of the expedition against the false prophet in Soudan.
