NO NATIONAL GALLERY FOR SYDNEY. Received October 12, noon. Sydney, October 12. The Legislative Assembly last night rejected the proposal made by Government in favour of the erection of a National Gallery and Public Library on the site of the Garden Palace recently destroyed by fire.
