Considering the largo entry, we look upon the day's tran.sucti.ins as showing an improved finnnes-i. most of the lots being cleared at fully maintained—and in .some instances advance.)—rat-js This is more especial'y the case in merinos, which were well represented both in number and quality, in fact we have never seen a better all-round display of merino mutton in the Aldington yards—the trade allowing their appreciation of the same by free competition, and a cle mince of every line at from 13s to 15s per head. In eross-hreds Messrs Giuld and Cameron were, as usual, to the fore, their 400 wethers attracting a large share of attention, and selling nj'dily at from 18b ! 3d to 22-!— the highest piice in the market by sevenl ahidings per head —and bringing sin all-round average of 19s 3'J.
