AKAROA CRICKET CLUB.
To the Editor.
Sin,—Permit me through the medium of your valuable columns to ask the support of all lovers of atbletis exercise for the " Akaroa Cricket Club." By support I mean pecuniary assistance, for that we must raise funds from other sources than the playing members only, will be readily understood, when I state that we require fully £15 before the club can be said to have anything like an outfit. I would therefore ask all those who are not players, but who wish to encourage the club, to do so by becoming honorary members. ..Sub-, scriptions will be gladly received by Messrs A. Munro, Hamilton, W. Parsons, L Watkins, or myself, we being the committee appointed for that purpose. Trusting that this letter may meet with a hearty response.—Yours, etc., PRES3EY E. GRANGER,
Hon. Sec, pro tern A.C.C,
