I BY the English mail we have received invoices and advices of the shipment of nine cases and bales of General Drapery, Millinery, Dress Goods, &c, per ship Thorne, The Thorne left Gravesend, for Lyttelton, on May 13th, and we hope to be able to show these goods next month. Our London buyer advises us that this shipment is splendidly assorted, and has j been well and advantageously purchased. , By next mail we look for advices of. our second shipment, which will include all the latest novelties in every department.
