Report for the week ending Friday evening, the 25th iiist.: —
The aspect of the gnin market during the past week id in no respect altered. No quot'ible alteration has taken place, and business is if anything a shade quieter.
Whoiit—Milling wheat in 10d to 5 j per bushel f 0.1 i., i-eroiid quality 4s 3d to 4s 61 per bushel, ehiok wheat 3* dd to 4s per bushel, seed parcels 5s 3d to 5s 6d per bushel.
Outs—G-ood short milling samples, 3s3d to 3* 4d per bushel ; feed 3» Id to 3s 2d.
Grass Seed—The supply for the present exceeds the demand ; nevertheless! there is no quotable alteration to record in valups. Woll-clortned fanner's samples are offered in from 5s to 5s Gd per bushel. Transactions are numerous.
iind Butter—Tlio former is worth 7£d to 81 per lit; the latier, is Id for prime potted, fivtih, Is 4d per lb.
